About Emily Eddy
I am a safety professional with over a decade of experience and a passion for helping employers of all sizes keep their workers safe and business successful. I currently pursue this goal as the Vice President, Risk Services Manager for HUB International, working with our clients to achieve OSHA compliant and injury-free workplaces. This position, along with my past professional experience, has given me the opportunity to work in a wide variety of industries, including: wood products, retail, higher education institutions, manufacturing, transportation, surface mining, food processing and preparation, and construction. My love for safety began long before it was my profession. As a native West Virginian, I witnessed firsthand the impact of poor workplace safety practices and was determined to drive change. This led me to pursue my Master’s degree in Public Health, with an emphasis in Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences, and dedicate my career to creating the culture of workplace safety I\'d want for my loved ones. It\'s a bonus if I can get someone to laugh at my cheesy safety jokes along the way!
