ABOUT EMILY DRUIFF

Emily Druiff consultant, researcher, coach A recognised expert on UK social arts practice with over twenty years’ experience in the field, I draw on an extensive network of leading artists, funders and venues to create meaningful connections and support social change through art. Passionate about the power of co-production and the role of art in addressing inequalities, my specific expertise includes commissioning, community leadership and organisational change within a social arts context. Consultancy I work with arts organisations to plan and shape community partnership and leadership, guide board development, and support organisational change and relevance. I can advise on all aspects of commissioning social art, including new approaches to co-production. Coaching I am interested in coaching and mentoring artists, curators, commissioners and cultural leaders who have experienced barriers to entry into the field. This could be focused on a specific block or challenge or take a more holistic approach to professional development and career progression. About me I originally trained as an artist and curator and place creativity and collaboration at the heart of all my work. Before setting up as an independent consultant, researcher and coach in 2020, I was the Founding Director of Peckham Platform, responsible for establishing and leading the artistic vision for over a decade, establishing the organisation’s charitable status, securing Arts Council England National Portfolio status followed by 50% uplift, launched the capital campaign to open the new venue in 2023.
