I love working in an industry—and in a role—where continuous learning and growth are part of the journey.When I first took an entry-level job selling health insurance right out of college, I knew nothing about the industry. At the time, I saw it as a stepping stone into the broader business world, not a long-term career. A decade plus later, I’m still here—and I couldn’t be more grateful for the path this profession has taken me on and the people it has allowed me to work for and with. Three things people care most about are their health, family, and finances. Health insurance impacts all three. In our work, we help individuals and families gain access to quality healthcare while delivering exceptional service and support.The health insurance workforce is evolving. Twenty-five percent of insurance agents are expected to retire in the next two years. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be trained and mentored by seasoned professionals with decades of experience. As a new generation steps into this field, we have a unique opportunity to build on that foundation—combining this experience with fresh energy and modern tools. I’m passionate about encouraging others and giving back to those who are looking to get started or grow in the field—just as so many people helped me early in my career and continue to support me. While technology continues to bring new efficiencies to our industry, our mission remains the same: to build trust, lead with compassion, commit to service, and constantly strive to improve—together.
