About Emily Cooper
Dr. Cooper is founder and director of Seattle Performance Medicine and Cooper Center for Metabolism where she specializes in metabolic medicine. She is Board Certified in Obesity, and Family Medicine, Board Eligible in Sports Medicine, and a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Cooper focuses on evaluation and treatment of metabolic dysfunction, hypoglycemia and diabetes prevention.She has also founded a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, The Diabesity Research Foundation to focus on advancing the science of metabolism through research and education in an effort to curb the exploding Diabesity Epidemic. In conjunction with the Diabesity Institute she provided nuts and bolts clinical training for providers in the obesity/ medical lifestyle and metabolism realm.
