Manage the Clean Regattas Program, the world’s leading sustainability certification for all on-the-water, near-the-water, and water-loving events. Work with event organizers, community members, and sailors around the world to make more sustainable choices for their programs, clubs, and future events. Update and develop parameters for the program to reflect the best science and reasonable goals for participants, while upholding our \"progress not perfection\" ethos. Following a successful pilot with the Thistle Class, we fully launched our Clean Class Initiative in May 2023 to lead a broader effort that brings our Clean Regattas program to more events through partnering with sailing class organizations. Facilitate our Skipper volunteer program to broaden their work in their communities in support of our programs and Oceana\'s campaigns. In 2023, we are expanding the Skippers program to 20 members!
