About Emily Claps Driano
I’m a problem-solver who is passionate about how technology can be used for social good and sustainable global development. As a Notre Dame Computer Science alum and graduate of GE’s Digital Technology Leadership Program, I have experience in software development, machine learning, project management, and software deployment and integration. As both a learner and connector, I love working with clients and partners to deliver and integrate software that fits their needs. I love finding ways to resolve technical issues with both efficiency and empathy. My passion for service and social impact inform the values I bring to work. My experiences in both the nonprofit and private sectors as well as my domestic & international service experiences have instilled in me the core desire to dedicate my time, skills, and energy towards creating and sustaining a better world. The social causes I am most invested in are climate action, global health, and poverty alleviation. In my free time, you’ll find me traveling, swing dancing, practicing my calligraphy, long-distance running, playing piano, or camping.
