ABOUT EMILY CALOBRISI
PhD student in Psychology at Brandeis University (P.I. Ray Knight) I am currently studying how empathy for victims and perpetrators, as well as moral foundations, can be combined with attitudes toward individuals who sexually offend to predict support for punitive post-release policies. My MA thesis project, which has been published in Sexual Abuse, compared community and expert samples in the perceived recidivism risk and deserved post-prison disposition of individuals who have committed sexual offenses. Outside of research, I enjoy competitive ballroom dancing (American smooth and rhythm)
