I currently serve as a Human Resources professional and the Deputy Director for the Workday HCM Implementation within the CSU System IT division. In this dual-capacity role, I bring together deep HR expertise and program management leadership to support a diverse, dynamic, and highly technical workforce across multiple campuses.As an HR subject matter expert, I act as the primary point of contact for CSU System IT leaders and employees, guiding them through the full spectrum of human resources practices. I design and manage individualized recruitment strategies, lead onboarding and employee lifecycle programs, and provide strategic consultation on position descriptions, professional development, and performance management. I also oversee sensitive functions such as workplace investigations, progressive discipline, and employee relations with a focus on fairness, compliance, and best practices. My role requires an in-depth understanding of federal and state labor laws, as well as the ability to interpret and implement university and system-wide policies within a complex and evolving environment.In my role as the Deputy Director for the Workday HCM Implementation, I serve as a key liaison between CSU System IT, campus HR teams, and executive leadership, ensuring cohesive collaboration and alignment of Workday initiatives with broader organizational goals. I lead governance and steering committees, prioritize system-wide Workday updates and module implementations, and ensure seamless integration of technology solutions across campuses.
