About Emily Bruns

I believe every person deserves to find their dream job. In fact, my dream job is helping people find their dream job. I’m passionate about recruiting for the sheer amount of people you meet in a day. People tell me their likes, dislikes, passions, their goals for this year or their life’s work. And there’s no greater rush than when there’s a spot open at our company that is everything they need, and I know that I matched someone up with a pathway to grow, learn, explore their passions, and provide for their family. While not all of my experience has been in recruiting, all have set me up to succeed. Throughout my college experience I have been fortunate enough to work in administration, sales, public relations, teaching, and corporate social responsibility always with the same goal: to help people. These experiences taught me many valuable lessons that I will be bringing to the HR field but mainly it’s taught me to stay patient, confident, and organized. These experiences have also given me experience in Oracle HCM, Workday, Taleo, Kronos, and PeopleSoft. When I’m not studying for my business law classes or helping people find the perfect outfit at H&M, you can find me painting, reading, cooking, and listening to way too many podcasts.
