About Emily Brown

I am currently working as a Volunteer & Engagement Manager with the largest provider of homeless services in my area. I believe it is my responsibility as a global citizen to fill the gaps left by local and global social policies. I am passionate about creating opportunities and promoting equality for marginalized communities. I have previously volunteered with an international nonprofit and have served multiple advisory positions with nonprofits in my community.I am experienced and educated in intercultural communication, volunteer management, marketing, fundraising, administrative work and interdisciplinary research. I have an extensive background in costumer service and nonprofit advisory that has enhanced my organization, communication, time management and problem-solving skills. I am detail-oriented, self-motivated and efficient in all aspects of my work. I can be trusted to complete all tasks in a timely manner and with a positive attitude.
