About Emily Blackburn
I joined Boulay in 2013, was promoted to Partner in 2023, and now lead the firm’s Estate and Trust department. I specialize in trust, estate, and gift tax compliance, comprehensive estate plans, and probate and estate administration, including asset transfer and trust funding. I draw from my education in both accounting and law to be able to provide a variety of services for my clients. With this knowledge, I am capable of handling every step of a client’s planning opportunities, whether it is during life or through death and beyond. I enjoy working with families and individuals to help them through what may be complex and technical issues. I am also responsible for supervision and development of estate and trust department staff, an opportunity I truly enjoy.
