About Emily Bissel
I used to want to be a fashion designer. Then, I realized I can’t sew. Growing up, I was fascinated by fashion, often dressing up in colorful, sequined outfits and wigs. You’d always find me where the shoes were. It seemed like an appropriate dream considering my degrees from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. I was captivated by the art of fashion design, so I ended up as a digital marketer for a fashion brand. I loved every minute of it. My days spent with the camera getting the right angles to showcase the beauty and quality of the clothes. Editing them just enough and adding the perfect caption that would make anyone want to buy them. But, I wanted more. Pretty clothes wasn’t enough. I found that I became fulfilled through styling brands and their workplace cultures. Strategic design and storytelling became my passions and I was still able to satisfy my craving for art and design. The power of good storytelling and a well-thought out design for a company’s marketing efforts is undeniable. And I’m just getting started styling tomorrows’ brands and their work cultures.
