Previous work includes being a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on the Mental Health Specialty Flex team at the Edinburg Center in Bedford, MA. The Specialty Flex team is an interdisciplinary approach to treatment, serving school age children (8-21) with a variety of disabilities and mental health conditions, using a family voice and choice model in addition to trauma-informed, person-based care. May 2024 graduate of UMass Lowell who obtained a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Studies from UMass Lowell, and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching Bilingual Learners with Disabilities from Lasell University. Skilled in time management, autism spectrum disorders, creating enriching curriculum for all ages and abilities, and leadership. Recipient of the UMass Lowell/Lasell University Interdisciplinary Personnel Preparation Program (UML-LIPP) grant, a fully funded scholarship opportunity through the Office of Special Education Providers (OSEP) for future BCBA’s and special educators that focuses on the collaboration between behavior analysts and special educators when serving school-age students with disabilities. Spring 2022 Summa Cum Laude and Honors graduate of UMass Lowell with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Developmental Disabilities and a minor in Education. Previous work in higher education includes being a resident advisor for three years at UMass Lowell. Previous work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis includes (1) being a Managing Technician at BCI, maintaining a caseload of clients and overseeing their parent education, treatment planning, case management, and protocol modification, and (2) being a Teaching Assistant/Special Education Paraprofessional at the May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Wilmington, MA. Previous work in childcare includes working as the Arts & STEM Director and Integration Camp Counselor at Camp Elmwood of the North Attleboro YMCA, as well as working as a Group Leader at the YMCA School’s Out after-school program.
