About Emily Tracy Arthur

I am an HR Professional with 16 years of experience in both non-profit and for-profit industries, including education and manufacturing. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Rhetoric and Communications (Phi Beta Kappa graduate) and an MBA from the University at Albany. My passion for higher education began immediately following graduation when I secured a job as a Human Resources Associate at the University Auxiliary Services at Albany, a non-profit organization the campus of UAlbany. I was promoted after one year of service to the Director of Human Resources and given many responsibilities at that point outside of the HR environment, such as working closely with our board and assisting with our social media plan. After three years of service, I accepted a position at USC The Business College as the Director of Career Services and Human Resources. Due to staffing changes, I accepted a position there as the Director of Admissions and Career Services after three years of service, which I held until December 2016. In January 2017, I left higher education to join the team at Riverhawk Company, an engineering driven manufacturer in New Hartford, NY. I am currently a one woman HR team responsible for all areas.
