About Emily Allbaugh
With nearly four years experience as a Learning and Development professional (freelance and at Medallia), I collaborated with technology companies in the US and London to design and facilitate impactful leadership development workshops. These workshops focused on critical areas such as Giving and Seeking Feedback and Building High-Quality Connections, aiming to inspire action and foster lasting change among participants. I also built and trained a team of 20 volunteers across the globe to deliver a not-your-average first day orientation. My professional journey also includes roles in Sales Enablement at Snowflake, where I contributed to the creation and delivery of training programs, including a four-day sales bootcamp and a large-scale annual Sales Kickoff event.While “communications” and “marketing” have never been in my official job titles, they’ve been a constant thread throughout my career. At Medallia, I launched a lively monthly HQ newsletter and a Leadership Development digest for people leaders. I also shaped onboarding communications and brought visual storytelling to our workshops. At Snowflake, I introduced a weekly Sales newsletter (more practical than pretty—but powerfully effective) and established a global Sales call to keep messaging consistent across regions. In my freelance work, I’ve created branded templates and communication tools that make complex ideas clear, engaging, and actionable.
