I’m Emily A. Thompson, a Delaware native passionate about education, personal growth, and advocating for vulnerable populations. I hold a B.S. in Psychology, an M.S. in Management with a concentration in Organizational Leadership, and I’m currently pursuing a Doctor of Social Science in Prevention Science at Wilmington University.As Home Visiting Program Administrator for the Delaware Division of Public Health, I lead a voluntary, evidence-based initiative that supports at-risk pregnant women and families with young children, improving maternal and child health, fostering early development, and preventing child maltreatment.I’m energetic, compassionate, and results-driven, with a strong background in public service and a talent for problem-solving. Growing up in a family of grain farmers instilled in me a deep appreciation for hard work, resilience, and community values that guide me in both my professional and personal life.Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering, spending time with friends and family, and seeking out new experiences that challenge and inspire me.
