With a strong foundation in tropical ecology and a passion for fostering sustainable development, with more than 20 years of proffesional experience in different academic and conservation roles, my journey has led me to VERRA as a Senior Program Officer in Forest Carbon. Here, my focus is on refining IFM and ARR methodologies and integrating them with novel tools to support climate action initiatives. My recent role at the Wildlife Conservation Society deepened my expertise in forest carbon analysis, a vital component of my work in VERRA\'s dynamic environment.The transition from a research-focused post at the University of California, Berkeley to the applied efforts at VERRA showcases my commitment to translating scientific insights into practical solutions. My work is dedicated to enhancing the quality and impact of environmental standards, leveraging my analytical skills and on-the-ground experience to drive forward a greener, more resilient future.
