About Emilie Nerl
As a young artist, the world was my canvas. Actually, I should probably be a little more accurate - my parent’s front porch was my canvas with Crayola crayons and markers as my mediums of choice. I must say, even as a child my motto was “go big or go home.”Today my canvas has changed a bit. My clients and solving their graphic design projects with big ideas and designs that satisfy their branding needs has become my canvas. I’ve worn many different hats in my design career – editor, writer, researcher, project manager, art director, photographer, and production specialist. As a result, I have the ability to manage multiple projects at one time and to navigate complex challenges. My actual experience has taught me that I apply myself professionally to the following- I am solution driven and handle any problem head on (with a helmet of course)- I don’t care who gets the credit, as long as it’s a win for everyone- I like to get my hands dirty, and pitch in where ever help is needed- Working as part of a team is the theme; but I don’t mind rolling solo if I have to- Design and marketing should be cross-functional through various platforms in order to make the most impact to your customer.I love making new professional acquaintances that are passionate about what they do.
