ABOUT EMILIE COLE
Drawing on two decades as a visual creative and small business owner, Emilie assists exceptional people find exceptional homes in coastal Maine with Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty as Broker and Senior Vice President.Prior to discovering a passion in real estate, Emilie led Emilie Inc, a wedding and lifestyle photography studio based in the Portland, Maine, area for 19 years. Emilie photographed hundreds of weddings and garnered local and national attention for her imagery, recognizable brand and reputation for providing first class quality service. She earned a degree in photojournalism from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University and worked as a photographer and photo editor for USA Today and the Washington Post in Washington, DC, before moving to Maine in 2004. Emilie has also founded the Roots Workshop, Love & Lobster (sold in 2012), and Pink Initiative 501(c)(3) non-profit to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer (dissolved in 2015).
