About Emilie Luce

I am currently a fourth-year Interior Architecture & Design student at the University of Arkansas Fay Jones School. Over the past three and a half years, I have grown my passion for design and explored my creativity throughout the many avenues of this field. I have had the opportunity to advance my digital skills, become proficient in space planning and construction drawings, develop concept-driven projects, and even construct furniture pieces. During the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Rome, and grow an appreciation for the history of architecture and design. This past summer, I was able to work alongside the HOK Dallas Interiors team as an intern. This opportunity helped me develop real-world skills such as multi-phase project management, communicating and working effectively alongside other disciplines, designing for client needs and budgets, managing time with project deadlines, and strengthening my software skills. During this spring semester of 2025, I am serving as a teaching assistant for the History of Interior Design course at the Fay Jones School, where I will be able to help students enhance their learning experiences. Outside of work and education, I serve as the Organization and Membership Chair for the student chapter of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), as well as an Interior Design Mentor and Support Leader for the Psi Chapter of Chi Omega.
