About Emilie Allen
As a student therapist, I want to create a space where self-compassion can grow and my clients can find comfort and healing. I aspire to help individuals, couples, and families gain clarity, get unstuck, and overcome the struggles they are facing in order to become their best selves in the context of their relationships. I am drawn to theories that explore individuals’ beliefs and emotional experiences and how those are enacted in relationship to others and the world. Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Somatic approaches are of particular interest to me.
