ABOUT EMILIA M.
I have over 15 years of experience in the clinical trial and life sciences industry working as a laboratory assistant, clinical research coordinator, research nurse, and research nurse manager. Before joining the patient education team at Abbott, I worked as a research nurse manager/clinical research lead. In this role, I focused on providing the clinical knowledge and expertise required to provide decentralized clinical trial (DCT) services to participants safely, effectively, and consistently in the home on a global scale. I have many clinical interests making me a proud versatile nurse. I enjoy meeting new people, building relationships, and serving as a resource to my team and my patients. I am passionate about making clinical trials/healthcare more accessible for patients and their families, advocating for patient-healthcare provider diversity, and developing aspiring clinical research professionals. For the next chapter of my nursing career journey, I am open to opportunities outside of the clinical research space. I\'m looking forward to connecting with you!
