ABOUT EMILIA M.
I’m a healthcare operations leader with a background in complex care. I’m motivated by advocacy, improving patient outcomes and making services work better for the people who rely on them. Within a year, I independently grew the workforce from around 60 zero-hour staff to 95 employees, including 25 full-time roles. This increased care-hour capacity by more than 1,200 hours each week, supported higher acuity packages, generated up to £2.5M in annual revenue and helped ease wider system pressures by enabling safer, quicker hospital discharge. My work focuses on building practical, sustainable improvements in operations, compliance and service quality, particularly for people with complex needs. I’m also a qualified trainer and assessor, using this to support good practice and confidence across teams. I’m completing an MSc in Innovation, Leadership and Management alongside full-time work because I’m committed to continuous development and to contributing meaningfully to my role as a healthcare manager.
