ABOUT EMILIA ACEVEDO
I\'m a Mexican student at Boston College, studying Sociology with a minor in International Studies. My social work at the borders of Arizona and Chiapas has allowed me to understand the injustices of immigration policies and their historical impact. I am currently writing my Honors thesis in Sociology on the re-humanization of immigrants, aiming to promote public policies that guarantee dignity and human rights. My goal is to improve both individual and collective well-being. I consider myself a conscious person, committed to living sustainably and generating social and systemic change.
