ABOUT EMIELLE CENTRELLA NISCHIK
With over 15 years of nonprofit executive experience, I am passionate about creating a more equitable and inclusive education system where all students thrive. I have a Master of Public Administration and a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from Portland State University, and I am honored to be a Portland Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree.Currently, I serve as the Acting Executive Director at Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA), where I lead the strategic vision, operations, and advocacy of the organization. I leverage my skills in community relations, social networking, and fundraising to build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders across the Northwest. Previously, I was the Executive Director at College Possible, where I led the growth and sustainability of the Oregon site, securing over $3.2 million in annual revenue, diversifying the donor base, and scaling the program to serve more low-income and first-generation college students. I am committed to advancing racial equity and community-centered practices in education.
