I am developing a broad commercial practice with a focus on shipping, commercial litigation and international arbitration. I work both as sole counsel and as part of a wider team with other barristers, solicitors and foreign lawyers.Recent highlights of my experience as sole counsel include:(1) Acting in a two-day LMAA hearing in an unsafe port and war risks dispute arising out of the war in Ukraine, raising complex issues of fact and law.(2) Acting in relation to an application in the High Court for an anti-suit injunction to restrain foreign proceedings.(3) Acting for owners in defending against a challenge to an LMAA tribunal’s jurisdiction in a demurrage matter.
