I work as a theatre professional, psychotherapist, and mental health practitioner. I work in spiritual healing and transformation, communities of artists and creatives, and organizations that foster activism in psychology and well-being.I\'m the founder and director of the Broadway Mental Health Foundation, a nonprofit fighting to change the theatrical industry and create a system that is safe, healthy, and empowering for all. I\'m passionate about the mental and emotional health of all creative people.I am, as well as my organization, driven by a single goal; to make the performance industry a better place for all creators. The focus is on gradual change needed in order to flip the current paradigms of shame, psychological mistreatment, and toxic workplace environments that are rife in our artform today. I\'m fighting to end the emotional abuse, eating disorders, and negative programming that has caused the community pain for so long. Making art should not, and will not, involve sacrificing your well-being.Broadway Mental Health Foundation\'s mission is to provide artists with the tools they need to strengthen their mental and emotional bodies, pushing for therapy and counseling within production companies and making space for important conversations around mental illness and body image. Our partnerships involve funding to offer accessible care to performers as well as educational programs and seminars in schools.I’m the owner of PSYKHE LLC, an alternative and holistic healing company that fuses Art + Soul for creators of today and tomorrow. ​PSYKHE pioneers the partnership between mental health and performance, offering therapy and spiritual counseling to artists. In-studio workshops and events encourage creators to tap into their unique inner guidance and uncover the true meaning of personal expression. Metaphysical readings, energy healing, and coaching sessions are offered to dive deeper into your Soul\'s purpose – one of healing, authenticity, and Art.I\'ve spent a decade working professionally within the performing arts and have enjoyed regional and national acclaim as a musical theatre artist and dancer.I have particular expertise in theatrical advertisement, performance psychology, and creative writing. My literary work has been published in academic journals, online publications, and local magazines.
