The Ejike Ugboaja Foundation (EUF) is commited to providing improved life opportunities for up and coming generations of Nigerians to help them achieve success through education and athletics.The Ejike Ugboaja Foundation is a non Governmental Organization (NGO) that provides sports education opportunities to young Nigerians. The foundation has successfully supported over 200 young Nigerians with athletic scholarships- to get an education, while playing basketball or American football in the United States of America.EUF was founded in 2005 by Ejike Ugboaja-an NBA professional basketball player. Rising from his humble beginnings in Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, Nigeria, and presented with the opportunity of a lifetime, he was the first in the history of the NBA to be directly drafted to play from Africa.In a quest to re-enact this life altering opportunity to aspiring and talented Africans, he established the foundation to give back.As COO of the foundation my duties include-Being responsible for the financial condition of the organization along with business development- Developing and designing a strategic plan to raise funds for the organization in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner-Supervising all public relations efforts of the foundation-Directing all efforts for branding and market positioning, including social media-Creating and implementing a comprehensive plan for development and marketing activities
