Working in chemistry either energizes or drains you. I know I\'m a true chemist because it definitely energizes me and without constant connection with others in my field, I would not be who I am. I love to work in a laboratory setting creating potential compounds and crystals with the equipment, procedures, and strategies to create the results for them. I consider myself both an analytical thinker and a detail-oriented person, which the combination has helped me be successful throughout my life. I also have strong leadership, organizational and communication skills and can balance a large book of tasks and constant internal demands with my passion for organic and inorganic chemistry, leadership within Instacart, and research assistant positions.Outside of my professional life, I love to travel, learn about different cultures and languages, live a health and active lifestyle, and continue to learn and grow personally through trial and error in the lab. One of the most defining experiences of my life was the opportunity to work with FIU\'s inorganic graduate research group where I learned, worked, and struggled to grow my laboratory techniques.Taking all my past experiences my dream has finally come true.
