ABOUT EMELIA SULJIĆ

Emelia is a Climate Resilience Specialist at ICF, a global consulting firm that specializes in protecting people and places from the impacts of climate change. Emelia works on assessing climate vulnerability, developing resilience plans, and identifying climate-driven threats to health for state, local, and international clients.She is passionate about the intersection of environmental exposures and global health equity and has worked on a wide range of related international projects. This experience includes her fieldwork in the Marshall Islands to decipher the lasting impacts of nuclear weapons testing, her work developing pediatric lead surveillance programs for Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, and Colombia, and her ongoing research with Harvard\'s Health Systems Innovation Lab.A violinist of 23 years, Emelia was a student of Dr. Hye-Sun Lee at the Music Institute of Chicago. At Columbia, she studied with Richard Rood. She has performed in revered venues including the Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center\'s Alice Tully Hall. She was also a student of vocal arts (soprano) under Dr. Robert White, Jr. of The Juilliard School, the winner of the International Romantic Music Competition, and a featured vocal soloist at Carnegie Hall.
