   Manage Linux and Unix operating systems across several hardware infrastructures and environments including Cloud, deploy and manage applications hosted on these operating systems and perform optimization and tuning of these systems and application to achieve the best performance. • Implemented DUO Two-Factor Authentication across Surescripts environments made up of over 4500 Linux servers, to add extra security to company\'s access management. • Provision, harden and configure Linux Servers using combinations of tools and procedures like Terraform, kickstart, and VMSmart in VMware, physical servers, and Cloud, and manage accesses to these environments using Microsoft Active Directory (AD). • Implement Linux server related requests, troubleshooting, and addressing tickets and incident promptly. • Perform quarterly operating system patching in Linux Servers and Oracle servers’ patching on the fly using Oracle-KSplice. • Deployed and manage Web Applications. Deployed a combination of Apache and PHP, and Nginx with Django and Uwsgi all hosted on MySQL database, and interface between application developers and Linux engineers to deploy application changes and updates. • Implement and manage Docker Containers and applications, example, migrated Surescripts Puppet Enterprise from Puppetlabs to open source running on docker container for efficiency and cost reduction. • Participate in On-Call rotations. Respond to systems, applications monitoring and ensure proper documentations. • Perform regular vulnerability scanning and provide necessary remediation and security recommendations. • Manage system-wide backup using Veeam backup process and procedures to perform backup across Linux hosts in VMware and on physical nodes. • Perform Datacenter related work which includes server racking, cabling and hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
