ABOUT MATT WARBURTON
Matt Warburton is a designer and creative strategist with over 30 years experience in both Toronto and Vancouver. He is recognized for his user-oriented design solutions which always convey a strong brand personality. He uses his highly refined sense of typography, visual hierarchy and graphic simplicity to create communications materials which resonate effectively with a wide range of clients, industry sectors and audiences. He is a part-time instructor in the ECUAD/BCIT Design Essentials program, a member of the DesCan’s BC Chapter executive and also serving as National Communications Chair, past-chair of the Kwantlen GDMA Advisory Committee and a past member of the Canada Post Stamp Advisory Committee. He was honoured with DesCan (GDC) Fellowship in 2003, and since becoming a graphic designer in the early 1980s, has won numerous awards for his work.Specialties: Sports marketing and branding, healthcare, educational institutions, financial institutions, corporate identities, communications materials, annual reports, websites, environmental design.
