About Emily McLain

I am a life long Oregonian and I love this place. I am passionate about supporting progress and working to make our state and country more equitable, free of barriers, and just for everyone. Income inequality drives so many challenges and barriers across our world. My mission is to work for causes that build a healthier, more just, more equitable world for everyone regardless of where they are from or how much money or privilege they have. I have committed my work to being an ally and accomplice to communities who have long been excluded and underrepresented in leadership. I work to support and lift up the voices of others with a focus on equity, access, reproductive justice, education and electoral rights. I use my 15 years of experience and expertise in government relations, advocacy, lobbying, candidate and initiative campaigns, and political organizing to win concrete victories and tangible improvements in people’s lives.
