ABOUT EHSAN CHOWDHURY

Currently responsible for consumer deposit DDA & funds availability performance management at Bank of America. I completed my MBA from Simon Business School, University of Rochester concentrating in Finance, Accounting and Organization Strategy. I have extensive experience of over 5 years in the financial services industry and have gained valuable and transferable skill set in this fast-paced sector. Prior to attending business school, I was a part of HSBC Bangladesh’s corporate banking team. I managed a corporate banking portfolio and supported senior relationship managers to manage accounts of large multinational firms. I did extensive financial modelling to prepare large credit proposals by analyzing industry data and financial statements. I also provided corporate advisory services related to financial planning and supported transactional activities related to trade finance and cash management.At HSBC, I liaised with various divisions, analyzed bulk data for strategic team meetings and trained new relationship supports. Utilizing excellent communication skills, I developed and maintained successful working relationships with both internal and external staff. I have also worked in multiple projects within the bank and have been recognized by the senior management for my contribution.My colleagues and classmates know me as a positive and energetic person who works well in a team environment and is open to new approaches. I am a problem solver with strong analytical and quantitative skills and excellent at critical analysis, conflict resolution and effective communication.
