About Ember Reichgott Junge
Amateur competitive ballroom dancer and author of The Dance of Resilience: Transforming Lives and Staying Vibrant Through Partner Dance, releasing January 13, 2026. Signed copies now available from Books available online and in bookstores after release date. Versatile and innovative leader in three sectors: government, nonprofit and business. As 18-year Minnesota state senator, authored first-in-nation charter school law (1991) and first public school open enrollment law (1988). As executive of Minnesota\'s largest human services nonprofit, managed change, built high-performing team, generated record revenues, and designed new services. With M.B.A. and J.D. degrees, served as corporate counsel for Fortune 500 companies, and as counsel for nonprofits focusing on board governance, strategic planning, and messaging. Since senate retirement in served as frequent public affairs analyst for broadcast and print media. In June, 2012, released first book: Zero Chance of Passage: The Pioneering Charter School Story which was cited as expert resource in a 2025 US Supreme Court case.
