At Nature Communications, I currently handle manuscripts on robotics, with a particular focus on electronics, neuromorphic devices, optoelectronics, actuators, and sensors for robotics applications. As researcher: I was an experimental physicist in solid state physics. I used advanced optical spectroscopy techniques, like tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy, to investigate nanostructures and novel two dimensional materials, as well as the still unclear mechanism behind near-field light-matter interaction. The plasmon mediated light-matter interaction allow to bring spectroscopy on the nanoscale leading to unprecedented fundamental physics discoveries and applications.
