ABOUT EMANUELE BATTISTA
Since 2011, he has worked as a transportation designer and currently serves as Design Manager and Lead Designer at SPADACONCEPT, a studio founded by Paolo Spada, son of Ercole Spada, one of the world’s most renowned car designers. At SPADACONCEPT, he manages projects from initial sketches (2D and 3D) to final renderings, prototype development, and production, focusing strongly on cost efficiency and environmental impact. Throughout his career, he has overseen projects from concept to production, including vehicles like the E.Go and Evum. He has collaborated with multiple automotive brands through Magna, contributing to projects for Iveco Magirus, Ineos, and others. His work extends beyond automotive, involving airplanes, helicopters, and Formula 1 and rally helmets for Stilo. Since 2019, he has also been teaching Material Typology at IED Turin, working with international students and sharing his expertise while continuing to learn. He has completed master’s programs on ESG and Circular Economy at 24ore Business School, Business Management at Harvard Business School, and courses on intellectual property through the EUIPO Academy. These studies have broadened his design perspective, integrating sustainability, intellectual property, and business strategy into projects across various mobility sectors.
