ABOUT EMANUELA GASBARRONI

Professional journalist with a broad experience in the radio (13 years as chief editor), television (Rai, GBR) and newspaper field (9 years collaborator with La Repubblica). Experience in the management of TV productions, screenplay and direction. Deep relationship activities to organize communication events, international tenders, meetings and conventions. I also followed important press offices (Universities, Public institution) and communication campaign In the last 18 years: Organization of film festivals (Latina sotto le stelle), theatrical readings (Radici in aria), exibitions. Writing of an historical book after ten years of researches, in the archivesabout a refugee camp in Latina, where arrived around people escaping from eastern countries, during the cold war. Historical researcher for Liceo \"Leonardo da Vinci\" in Paris. In the same school, set up the newspaper of the school (Il Leonardo) with the students. Author, director and producer of documentaries on environment, development and human rights, political and economic issues, shot in the Mediterranean area (Mashrek-Maghreb, Albania, Greece, Canary Island, Spain) and in Asia (Nias island, reconstruction post tsunami). Many of these films has been broadcasted by BBC world, arabic national channels and Rai. My last documentary \"Escape for freedom\" about the refugee camp in Latina,(where arrived around refugees escaping from eastern countries), was nominated as best documentary at the Italian Golden Globe 2018. I worked also with the University of Florence to make video about green buildings. I won three awards for the documentary “Water and peace” shot between Israel, Palestinian territories and Jordan. I did for Repubblica Firenze a web story about the drammatic story fo Rossella Casini. For Italian cooperation - Foreign Ministry - in Egypt I produced a video about environmental policy. For Italian Cooperation in Lebanon I worked as communication expert for the Lepap Project (World Bank). For European commission I produced two films about Swim programme, shot in Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, Tunisia and Jordan. I speak and write in english and french B2 level. I was a teacher in a course about \"creative documentary at The Egyptian Television with 22 students of 4 arabic countries. This is the video we produced after a week of job together
