During my career at KPMG, I held multiple leadership roles in the US and Switzerland while serving as a Global Lead Partner for key clients across a wide variety of industries. I grew up in Ethiopia and spent my summers in Egypt, Europe and/or the US before moving to the US to attend UVA.    As a Global Lead Partner on key clients of our firm, I\'m responsible for building executive level relationships, understanding their strategic priorities and bringing our best teams across the world to deliver high value client service. I was the Advisory Office Leader in New York and was a member of the New York Office leadership team driving our client strategy in the market. As a seasoned risk consulting partner, I specialize in enterprise risk management, internal audit, SOX, and governance for our global clients. In my role I have led the largest internal audit co-source engagement in Europe, been the lead for the largest quality assurance review of a internal audit for one of the largest global banks, and led the transformation of Internal Audit for one of the largest ratings agencies. KPMG LLP, the audit, tax and advisory firm, is the U.S. member firm of KPMG International Cooperative (\"KPMG International\"). Thoughts expressed here are my own.
