I work alongside experienced field clinical engineers and cardiac specialists as a clinical engineer intern to implant, monitor and troubleshoot cardiac devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators in accordance with regulatory ISO and FDA standards. I actively shadow and observe device implantation procedures, actively analyzing live output data in the operating room. I regularly analyze ECG graph data from both remote monitoring systems and in-clinic interrogations to proactively detect abnormalities. I conduct root-cause analyses to identify issues and actively implement Corrective & Preventative measures to restore optimal device performance and improve patient quality of life.
