About Em Taber

Hi! I’m Em. I’m a writer, film lover, and all around entertainment industry nerd who loves any hands-on experience. I\'ve trained for real-world writers rooms through my work at Red Wagon and ICTV, got a look at the back end of the film industry while working at Deadline, and provided television journalism at Collider. In addition, I\'ve worked to enhance communications between Ithaca College and its alumni by being one of the first participants in the Student Ambassador program. I love learning and love to talk film, TV, marketing, and communications, so don\'t be afraid to reach out!

1. Development Assistant Intern

   Red Wagon Entertainment

   Aug 2025 — Present

   At Red Wagon Entertainment, I supported day-to-day operations by handling a wide range of administrative responsibilities and contributing directly to the creative development process. My work included script coverage and detailed analysis, tracking submissions, direct assistance to producers Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher, maintaining internal databases, and assisting with scheduling/correspondence. I also helped ensure the office ran smoothly through general upkeep, organization, and coordination of materials, allowing my bosses to stay focused on development and production priorities. This role strengthened my ability to quickly write comprehensive coverage, my time management, and ability to balance creative evaluation with practical office support.
