Selected for an internship which features professional research in the area of neurogenetics in the Laboratory of Neurogenetic and Precision Medicine under renowned physician Dr. Edwin Oh, PhD. Performed wet lab cell research at an undergraduate level at the University of Las Vegas Nevada in the Science and Engineering Building in room 1157/1156. Worked both independently in wet lab research, utilizing centrifuges, PCR, and gel electrophoresis technology, and worked collaboratively with other interns on presenting a peer-reviewed article. Performed dry lab research in the Natural Science department under the guidance of college (upperclassman) mentor, Brittny Mikhaiel, overseen by Dr. Edwin Oh, Ph.D. Presented research project at OUR’s Spring Undergraduate Research Symposium at UNLV on April 27, 2022. Attended by NYLF Certifications: Stop the Bleed UAG part 107 (drone pilot license) First Aid/CPR/AED Awards: AP Scholar with Honors Academic Excellence Nevada All-State Academic Team Personal Projects: World Vision - 2020 National Social Innovation Challenge Winner Congresswoman Susie Lee: Member of Congress, Third District of Nevada and United States Senator Jacky Rosen: United States Senator, Nevada Recognized by Governor of the State of Nevada: Steve Sisolak and the Las Vegas Office of the City council.
