Directed LA’s Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) FY22 $15M award process - a countywide undertaking - engaging 100+ partners to allocate funding and align vision for youth homelessness systems change, including staffing; program design; and RFP development, scoring, and awarding.Designed and launched youth initiatives including Youth Action Board, Peer Navigation, and housing programs at SPY; Youth Access Centers, Campus Peer Navigation, and YHDP programs at LAHSA. Collaborated with youth action boards such as SPY Squad, HYFLA, and LA Emissary to embed lived experience in program design.Managed the Annual LA Homeless Youth Count, boosting volunteer and provider engagement by 300% in 2023. As SPY’s regional YCES lead (2017–2019), managed SPA 5 programs and increased youth housing placements by 15% through stronger provider collaboration. Developed and facilitated CEU coursework on youth homelessness and service approaches for licensed clinicians. Regularly trained community, expanded partner network, and facilitated case conferencing.
