ABOUT ELVIS OTOBO

I specialize in records and information management, public relations, and education, crafting strategies that enhance information governance, communication, and knowledge sharing to drive organizational success. I hold a BA in Public Administration (University of Benin), two MAs in Archives and Records Management (University of Ibadan.), an MA in Heritage Theory and Practice (University of Plymouth), and a PhD in Information Resources Management (Babcock University). In 2022, I was appointed Associate Professor and later Full Professor of Archival Science and Diplomatics at Ballsbridge University. Honoured as the ICA New Professional Awardee (2015) and GWA judge for the International Public Relations Association (2019/2020), I am a proud full member of the Archives and Records Association (UK), Society for Education and Training (UK), and Chartered Institute of Public Relations (UK). My professional journey includes internships at the National Archives of Iceland, Saltram House (National Trust), and The Box, Plymouth, complemented by leadership roles at Caleb University and consultancy at Dorato Global Services. I am a certified leadership coach of the leadership challenge workshop, USA. I apply a holistic approach to organizational development, emphasizing ethical standards, strategic campaigns, and impactful narratives. My experience spans managing B2B and B2C relationships, creating archives, and enhancing brand visibility through media and PR. Previously, as a Consultant at Dorato Global Services and Acting Director of Public Relations, Protocol, and Marketing at Caleb University, I excelled in crafting records management policies, executing marketing strategies, and leading teams in PR, corporate communication, and social media.
