Supervise a Security Team to follow post orders that includes providing safety and protecting all patrons, employees and company assets. In charge of security for Wedding Events and other events. Handle Administration for scheduling, timekeeping, key control management, uniforms, safety inspections for fire equipment and fleet management. Train new hires on all post assignments and provide Leadership in the Security Department. Review weekly Guard Tek Reports for Security Officers’ patrols and Daily Activity Reports to be in compliance and provide feedback as needed. Ensure management, members, visitors and children are provided with a safe environment. Patrol, enforce Deering Estate policy and regulations, and investigate all property related incidents. Investigate security related accidents / incidents, interview witnesses, complaints, and victims; responsible for gathering physical evidence and preserving it for future use; complete report and follow up with management as needed. Investigate and report fires, evacuations, hazardous situations / other property related events, and provide back up for Police, EMS and Fire Rescue response officials. Adept in crowd control and ensure all visitors have active access rights. Ensure that all employees on company property have proper company issued identification. Greet and assist members / visitors with Deering Estate directions and questions. Protect considerable assets that are open to the public including but not limited to Artworks. Check identification under Chapter 26 park rules and regulations. Monitor Fire Protection Systems and report service request to Johnson Controls Corp. as well as upper management. Respond to building burglary alarms and fire alarms. Execute Hurricane Plans during Hurricane Season. Enforce Miami Dade County Safety Rules and Regulations and well as adhere to O.S.H.A. Chapter 29 - Occupational Safety and Health Regulations.
