ABOUT EMILY LUNA

Hello! I am a senior Sociology major at the University of California, Berkeley, minoring in Public Policy, graduating in May. I am interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare space, whether that be in Malpractice Law or healthcare policy. I also have an interest in corporate law, immigration law, and policy work as a whole. As someone with limited legal experience, I am open to exploring areas outside of my interests. As a Latinx woman who grew up in an impoverished community, I always knew I wanted to make a difference in the lives of underrepresented individuals. This stemmed my drive to pursue a career in law or policy. I believe that my personal experiences and background allow me to work closely and effectively with underrepresented individuals to advocate for equitable opportunities. My ability to adapt, perseverance, willingness to learn, and dedication are just a few characteristics that would make me an astonishing candidate for future positions.
