I am extremely excited about this new chapter in my life that I am about to embark on. Of all my dreams and adventures this is by far the most exhilarating; thrilling and challenging but I just love the prospect. I have always loved to cook (even though I do not like cleaning up after - smile) and through the years I have lived in 5 Countries and traveled to more than 47 (English, French,Spanish & Dutch speaking Caribbean; Europe; North & South America). I loved the sights; the architecture; the history; the smells; the colors; the people and the different cultures. Being a \'Foodie\'​ I enjoyed trying out many foods/dishes from the very basic to the most exotic. I truly enjoy and love to explore the various textures; taste and smell that emanates from these foods. So small mystery when I started a hand written note book with recipes about 28 years ago. I started experimenting with different styles of cooking and the use of seasonings and spices. I love perfecting my meals often tasting the uncooked seasoned meat to ensure that it is seasoned properly. I love positive compliments about my cooking and I appreciate constructive criticism, this tells me that their is room for improvement and I strive to improve upon that. So, I have decided to put my culinary skills to good use. Witness the birth of COOKIN\'​ JAMAICAN (website Along with my handwritten collection of recipes I wrote a manuscript for authentic Jamaican dishes which I am in the process of getting published. I am also offering catering service and cooking instructions classes for Jamaican and Caribbean foods. However, because of my extensive travel and exposure to other cultures and their cuisines I also provide catering and cooking services for American/Italian/French/Mediterranean/Indian/Asian food etc. So, forget about struggling and trying to understand recipes and measurements I will teach you and when it\'s time to cater for your small or medium parties, please give me a call.
