ABOUT ELPIDIO ATTOH-MENSAH
My research aims to promote healthy aging through innovative forms of physical activity supported by immersive technologies, particularly through exergames, interactive video games that combine physical exercise with playful engagement, stimulating both body and mind. My main objective is to optimize the benefits of these interventions by deepening our understanding of the mechanisms underlying their effects. In this context, I am especially interested in behavioral changes and their neurophysiological markers. In addition, I also investigate post-stroke rehabilitation, exploring how innovative technologies such as exoskeletons and immersive environments can foster neuroplasticity and enhance functional recovery 🧠 . I teach neuroscience, physiology and scientific methodology courses in the faculty of sport science in Limoges.
