Government affairs and public policy professional representing the nation’s largest consumer finance banks and nonbank lenders through a 100+ year-old national trade association founded in 1916. I work at the intersection of state legislation, regulatory compliance, and business strategy, advising stakeholders on policy risk and regulatory developments across all 50 states.In my current role, I focus on high-impact issues including AI governance, consumer credit regulation, licensing, and rate structures. My work involves engaging directly with regulators and lawmakers, authoring formal comment letters and legislative testimony, and translating complex policy developments into actionable guidance for large, regulated financial institutions.I bring a strong understanding of how regulation impacts business operations and am particularly interested in areas where public policy, regulation, and emerging technology coincide.

Advise member companies on a broad range of policy issues including data privacy, AI and algorithmic decision-making, mortgage, credit cards, vehicle finance, debt settlement, tax policy, interest rate caps, licensing, remote work, etc. Author formal comment letters and policy submissions to state legislatures and regulatory agencies, and provide in-person and written testimony before legislative committees. Engage directly with regulators, lawmakers, and coalition partners, translating complex policy developments into strategic guidance to support compliance, risk management, and business decision-making for member companies.
