As Executive Director of the World Diamond Council (WDC) since 2020, I advocate for ethical practices and work to strengthen consumer confidence in natural diamonds through the Kimberley Process. My role allows me to blend my passion for the diamond industry, geopolitics, and global advocacy. Traveling worldwide as an ambassador for our sector, I promote responsible sourcing and help reshape the narrative—demonstrating how diamonds can uplift socio-economic development in producing countries. A core part of this work involves engaging with governments and policymakers to ensure that regulatory frameworks reflect the realities of the diamond trade—supporting meaningful progress while preserving a healthy, thriving industry in which all stakeholders can grow and prosper.
